Default Audi A6 1.9Tdi Avant 2004

Hi, I wonder if anyone can give some advise on a problem Ive just started to get on my Audi. Basically, first noticed it going up a hill, sudden loss of power, as if the Turbo wasnt spooling up. Now since, been gettting random problems when just trying to drive the car off from a standstill, absolutely no guts what so ever, and even to a point where the throttle had absolutely no effect on the RPM from idle. The car can even stall when put into drive aswell.

Has anyone ever had anything similar happen to them??

any help or advise would be greatly appreciated
Kind Regards
Tim

Does it do this most or all of teh time or only occasionally? It sounds like your car might have switched itself into emergency get you home mode due to some fault. You need to take it someone with the right electronics to look at the fault in the computer. Sometimes it is simply a matter of clearing the fault bit and all is well. Sometimes you need some serious repairs but tehse engines are renowned for their reliability.

Could also be a problem with the throttle or throttle linkage. A fuel supply problem. Plugged fuel filter.
