maintenance records

schedule a pre-purchase inspection with an independent mechanic that specializes in Audi. Even if it costs you $100 it can save you in the long run

A 2.0 in an A6? That sounds like cruel and unusual punishment to me! The A6 weighs 4000 pounds. ASking two liters of anything to push around 4000 pounds is a bit much. If you insist on that engine, get something more appropriate wrapped around it, like a Golf. For the A6, look for a V-8.

Obviously the OP is outside the US. With a 2.0 I am guessing it does not have Quattro and is front wheel drive. As a result, most of the members on this forum will not have any first hand experience with the car in question.

You are wrong. Perhaps you are looking at an A4, which was available with the 2.0 in the US.

Nope. check it your self... it is rather shocking but its the truth. 2 engines available for the a6...2.0t and the 3.0t

This 2.0T has 211HP, just 11HP less than my 3.0L 222HP. Most people won't feel the difference I think.

yea the 0-60 isn't as bad as I thought. 7.5 is slow but hey only a second slower than the 2.7. It seems there is a trend in manufactures as they are reducing cylinders by 2. The 7 series bmw is now a 3.0v6 TT and the new s6 is said to be a v8 not v10

You said in your original post that it was a 2007. That is where the confusion came from.
