Hi,

I have a 2001 A6 55k 2.7T tiptronic quattro.
When I was buying the car, I didn't know about this, but the car doesn't shift up in tiptronic mode, but it shifts down, when you pull the gear down.
The automatic mode works perfectly.

Any ideas?
I am not so worried, just I want to know if it is something big or not.
And can be easily fixable?

i had same problem. There was missing magnet. I fixed by my self. Just be careful, when you removing shifting ****. Whole part you can get here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLOOR...Q5fAccessories

Also , somewhere is full repair instruction. Just google it
