Hello everyone, i got confused when i saw audi c5 2.7T with a red T. What is the difference between 2.7T and 2.7T(red) i got my audi without badges so dont know which one i should look for. Mine is 184kw

 

Last time I was in Europe I was told there was a difference in horsepower between the 2.0T engines put in the VWs, signified by the color of the T. I have never seen a red T 2.7T in the US. I would bet the owner either painted it or swapped out the letter with a red one. I have seen an awful lot of 2.7Ts over the past 8 years that I owned mine! It got your attention, didn't it?

 

I've never seen it on a 2.7T, although my B5 A4 has a red "flag" off the "T" in 1.8T. Pretty sure, at least in the A4 case, that it was a facelift edition (my B5 is a 2001.5). I've thought about swapping it with my C5, since it's my DD and I'm letting go of the B5.
