Default Audi A6 Service Indicator reset

Hello

I would like to reset Service Indicator in my Audi A6. I`ve done something and now on MMI Instead Next service event (km, day to service) i got message "The required data for the service indicator are not yet avaliable"

How can i bring that back?
I have got Audi A6(2006). Ive look on internet for some tips but any of instruction didn`t work. Maybe because Its for older version of A6?Im quite new user of that car. Does anybody know how to sort it out?

I`ll be very grateful for any ideas.
Thanks

The service indicator can only be reset with a VAGCOM. Once it is reset it takes a little time/ a few miles before it displays the remaining time/mileage to the next service.

My friend owns a shop but doesn't work on audi/volks. He was able to reset the intervals with the Snap-on computer plugged-in, but I still have the same message on the MMI. Almost like it was reset, but somehow needs to be told 365 days and 10,000 miles. Any ideas?

What message is on the MMI? Does it say you need service or does it say "The required data for the service indicator are not yet avaliable"? If the former then your friend did not reset it properly. If the later then you have not driven enough miles since the service for it to display. When you use a VAG-COM or an Audi service computer you do not need to specify the days or mileage to the next service, it uses the default values stored in the ECU. These can be changed if you like but the change is separate from the reset.

It does say, "The required data for the service indicator are not yet available"
and I have drove at least 300 miles since the service. We are working with another shop that has VAG-COM. Funny how the 55k service is the first customer pay service and also requires plugs.
Thanks.

I forget how many miles it takes before you get an this screen to report correctly. It could be 500 miles or 1,000 km (620 miles). Wait a little longer before you worry.
