Default Audi A6 vs Wrx?

Ok, I have a 2001 a6 with a cat back exhaust and a giac chip which brings me to like 310hp and 368ft lbs. of torque. This kid wants to race me with a stock 2008 wrx. Who do you think would win? would weight be an issue and make me lose?

It's like a Harley versus a Hayabusa - completely different animals for completely different purposes. You have a German Buick - be happy with what it is.

Depends if he is going to race with 4 friends in the car... look at the specs for a 2008 wrx, they are pretty damn light.

with the chip action i think you'll be fine. The WRX is a relatively laggy turbo-set up. With fast spooling 2.7T and the GAIC at 360+lbs torque you'll be fine even with the additional 700 lbs of weight or whatever we may have. Im also assuming this is a street race not a track race where you both will probably not run the length of a 1/4 mile. Stock WRX 2008 should run around 5.5-5.8 0-60mph and a 14.2 quarter. I got my money on you bro.

Plus I hate Subaru.... I used to be a Mitsubishi guy. Well... still am, just no more DSM, sold it a couple months ago. Evo some day.

The A6 is not a light car, and the tip tranny is susceptible do damage because of the extra hp/torque. What are you really trying to prove? It's a freaking Suzuki for gosh sakes. Show some class. You own a sports sedan autobahn cruiser, not a rice rocket. If you happen to have the MT6, check my signature and guess how I ended up with a new clutch and flywheel.

I actually just found out that this kid is most likely lying about his car being stock from a friend of his. That makes sense now why he wanted to bet like 500 bucks, he probably has a lot of work done to it.

Its a difference between fast and quick. The A6 is quick, but not fast. I tried to make minds fast, but it lose speed to quickly. By getting beat by almost everything I try to race, I'm just gonna take it for what it is.
