Audi's fix themselves
Ever sine I got my car the brake light chime was coming on (litlle over a week), it was the third break light, I tested the wire and it was good, so i thought I would have to replace the LED strip. Today, the warning was no longer appearing and it works perfectly! Audi"s can even sometime fix themselves. Haha
Audis are magic!
Sometimes they break for no reason, sometimes they fix themselves. But don't count on the second thing happening. If it breaks there is probably a reason and if it seems to fix itself the problem will return.
I once had a problem with my 200QT blowing the fuse on the left side parking lights. I would replace the fuse and it would be OK for a few days but then they would stop working. Since it was an intermittent problem, finding the fix was very hard.
I was convinced that it was in the wiring so I began taking harnesses apart to see if there was a short someware. After a few weeks of playing around I isolated it to the portion of the circuit that went to the trunk lid and ran a new wire but it didn't fix the problem. In the end I found that the Audi wiring was not at fault. It was a short in the bulb on the trunk lid. It worked but if I shook it a little it would short out and blow the fuse. I reconnected the wires, replaced the bulb -and everything worked great.
