Hi there I have an audi a6 4f 2008 sline I seem to be having a dead battery or drain issue recently. I recently replaced the rear light bulb which killed the car for 20mins or so then worked perfect again is this normal and also I fitted a hid conversion which I think is the big culprit now as the battery seems to be dead almost everyday and needs to be jump started. The battery is perfectly fine has been tested. Just waiting for my obd lead so I can diagnosis anything wrong with the car but that want turn up till next week so any ideas guys that would be greatfull

 

Disconnect the HID conversion for a day (or overnight) and see if the battery still discharges.


I have never heard of a light bulb change "killing" an Audi.
