The owner of this car is "2001a6" who owns a '2001 2.8 quattro 84000mi for $8500'. Recently he sent me some sound clips of his exhaust from the back idle and all. I think this is the most shocking and best sounding exhaust you can get for the 2.8. HANDS DOWN. Please check it out and give this boy his props. Nice job man keep up the work for the 2.8 people!

POST SOUND CLIPS IF U THINK URS CAN FU C K WITH MY BOY

Yeah, thanks alot guys, its my car! Remus mufflers(370 a piece) and strait pipes inplace of resonator(100). It was hellas expensive but o well, it was worth it to me. What the hell OC, just cause my car isnt slammed? =) I want bigger rims (the ones on it were free so I cant complain) and I will eventually get coil overs but better engine performance comes first! O and clear corners to.

Thanks, Matt.

Always liked the sound of remus exhausts, i just installed a set on a guys 3.0L for him. Sounded like poo until we ripped out the resonator.

=) my neg comment was just about the exhaust hanging under the valence... i know that's how it was designed, but that is what got me never to mount my own Remus kit

$370 per side is major $$!! I sold 2-3 sets last year for about $500 ea

you kept remus piping and did 2" straight up to the cats?

Yeah, my low hanging tips might just be a problem on your car! Realy though, in person you dont notice it to much, they turned out fine. I made some small relief cuts in the valence and it helps make them look more integrated as well. I agree with Auditech 100%, with the resonator still in, the sound is boring, may as well be stock but when you reemove it... you guys know! Actually I cheaped out because removing the res. was an aftr thought, I just had 2 inch strait pipes in place of where the res. was, everything else stock. The thing is though, my car pulls excelent, no problems like Axels_NY's. It will pull hills at 35mph in 5th at like 1400 in D without downshifting. And pulls much stronger throughout the revs, from idle to 6800. Pretty loud and deep inside between 1500 abd 3000 rpms. Here, wammy forgot this one of accelerating inside the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PF75QzIMndM
