Best Heat Shield Sleeve for Audi A6 Engine Bay Wiring?
Hey everyone,
I’m doing some engine bay cleanup on my C6 Audi A6 (3.0T) and noticed some of the factory wiring sleeves near the turbo and downpipes are starting to wear from the heat. I want to replace or reinforce them with aftermarket heat shield sleeves.
Has anyone here used fiberglass, basalt, or other heat-resistant sleeves on their A6? What worked best for you in terms of heat protection and longevity?
Bonus if it’s easy to install without removing half the engine bay! Would love to hear what others have tried.
