Default Brake Issue - Need Help Please!!

Hello, I have a 2006 A6 Avant Quattro with the 3.2 FSI Engine and 78K miles.

It is having a weird issue with the brakes. When I press the pedal once it will brake and slow down as usual, but the next time I press the pedal it gets harder and harder - similar to when the car is off and it gets very hard to depress the pedal and stop.-

Anyone here know what's going on? There are no codes that I could get with the OBD scanner and not warning lights are on, although the driver information display is suddenly not working and flickering, so, another issue that I need to follow up on...

Thanks

Have you done any brake work recently? If so, have you bled the system?

sounds like something is wrong with the vacuum assist, I think these cars have a pump for generating vacuum it could be failing or you could have a leak

At 75K miles, I took it to the Audi Dealer in Scottsdale and they did the entire 75K service, which included replacement of the brake fluid. However this was a couple of months ago and the car has been braking great.

I was doing some research online and saw some posts in other forums, mostly european, where they talk about some cars having break servo issues and some sort of grommett from where some vacuum hose goes through the firewall. There was also a mention of a recall about this, but I have not been able to find any more details.
