Default calling all motor heads

i'm taking my husbands 03 A6 2.7T (automatic) in for its final warranty check-up for 50,000 miles. i start feeling very unlucky when the warranty is gone. it seems like all the other maintanence checks were done so quickly that i sometimes think all they do is change the oil (maybe i'm wrong). anyway, is there something special i need to have them check or should i fake some symptoms to get them to look at things that may be close to needing repair? what kinds of things start happening after 50K?
should i inquire about an extended warranty? any ideas are helpful.

Take the car to a good, independent shop that knows Audis. Have them give it a thorough once over. Most will do this for a 1 hour labor charge. They'll point out all the things that should be fixed. It will be money well spent.

I worry about the turbos the most. The general consensus however is that turbo failures are uncommon from 2002 and up as long as you perform proper maintennance and use synthetic oil.

Just my .02.

Have the dealer be sure to clean the abs sensors... they never do it and at like 70000miles (city) the brake dust will short one of them out... 160$ a pop parts. They are supposed to be cleaned every year but the dealer rarely does it.
