Greetings Folks. One of my buddies has an '07 BMW M5 and he's always patting himself on the back about all of the power that he has. And I read about Audi's A7 and S7 line that should be coming out soon, but sadly those specs list in the low 400hp to upper 480'shp...

I guess I have two questions: 1) Does anyone have any more concrete specs on what those models will be putting out? And 2) Me being a fan of the 2005 A6 body (is that called a C5 or C6??? I'm still learning...), is it possible to modify a 4.2 model or an S6 model to reach 500hp and above?

I'm not interested in racing at tracks, just the occasional street race about once every 3-4 weeks...

 

the c5 a6 or b5 s4 with the 2.7 can both make 500 horses absolutely. It will probably also be faster than the m5 just because of how steep the torque curves on rs6 snails and bigger have.

 

You can get 450 hp out of the C6 4.2 with a supercharger. Here is the link:

Thanks guys...wish I still had my v8.... Unless I can find a dealer that will offer me a semi decent swap I guess until late next year this 3.2 will have to do.
