Hey guys, I'm torn between my Silver 4.2 A6 or trading it in for a Black S6 I found kinda local. I don't know what I want to do, so I am turning to you guys for some outside opinions. Both are in really good condition, the S6 is priced right. Is there any differences between them other than HP and one being a sedan and other a wagon? Any suggestions are appricated. i'm pretty sure the interior is a bit different from yours, different wheels, i think different suspension. i think i'd trade my a6 for a s6 if it wasn't a wagon, i'm really partial to the sedan versions. i'm sure i missed a few differences,but i'd seriously think about it if i found a nice one.

***ohhh, and i'd also run a carfax or something and actually make sure it's a real s6 and not just an a6avant dressed up as one.

Mustang: I'm kinda with you on that one, not completly sure I like the wagon as much as the sedan look. Me being 22, I feel like the wagon is a little to "mature" for me. I dunno.
But damn, I really really want an S6.

stay with the 4.2..or..engine swap would really be ftw...but a6 wagons are ugly, nothing like the a4 avants..too big to look sporty..ends up looking like a station wagon

 

Well no engine swap, don't think that would be worth the trouble.
But I am kinda worried about it just looking like another station wagon on the road. I know I should'nt be, but I can't help it.

 

What? an engine swap for 40 hp????? Smae engine basically too! A watse of $$$$$.
And A6 wagons are not uggly. They are good looking cars that really come alove once modded.
Modded Wagon > Modded Sedan IMO

And the S6... man it is a legend... a rare one at that... A6 4.2 are all over.

def stick with the one u have now u could just chip it and get a few more ponies and the extra weight of an avant wont compensate

According to some, it handles even better than the sedan version with the extra weight at the back....
