Default Cat or O2

I just had new catalytic converters installed because they were rattling. I had the code 16814 catalyst system efficiency bank 2 below limit p0430. Now I still have the code. I have a 2001 a6 4.2 quattro. Anyone please help.

have you cleared the code yet?

having a bad cat can also faul up those O2s, especially on an 01,
If you haven't changed the O2s already you might as well do it now.

I cleared it twice, and it comes back. The o2 sensor is original never been changed. How many O2 sensors do I change and which side. I heard bank 2 is driver side. If I replaced two cats would I have a code for each or would one code just mean both left and right. I know there is a pre cat and then a cat on one side and the same on the other.

I went to this website

http://rep.racepages.com/parts/racep...howdc=true#top

It says which chassis range Up To: 008000 or From: 008001 ( I don't know which)
I also don't know which sensor (rear, left after or before) so many choices. When they started with the different color wires I said to myself let me ask for help on this one.

I'm not quite sure which sensor bank 2 refers to so hopefully a tech will chime in...
To determine chassis range it depends on the numeric range @ the end of your VIN
