Default Cell Phone Button

I bought a 2000 Audi A6 2.7T and I absolutely love the car, but it didn't come with an owners manual (I checked the special place under the steering wheel). I've figured out most everything including the SAT/NAV, but I can't figure out how to use the R/T and Cell Phone buttons on the steering wheel.

I know the new A6's have bluetooth but it would have been pretty far ahead of its time in 2000. Can someone tell me what both buttons actually do and how I set them up?

Thanks!

Cricket . .. cricket . . .

Okay, can someone point me to an online owner's manual? I like having my gadgets actually do something.

the manual itself does not say much about it. It says that info is in a different manual that came with the car....I don't think i have that manual.

That cell button is for an onboard cellphone that was an option with the car. If you look in the center armrest you'll see a little usb looking adaptor in there. I doubt you can configure it to work with any cell these days. Maybe check and see what brand of cell came with the car as an option
