can anyone give me a site or detailed instructions on changing the head gasket in a c5 4.2L?

Are there any specific extra steps involved with the model as well?

Also, where is the best place to get the right gasket?

The best thing that you could do for yourself before taking on this job is to purchase a workshop manual. Everything you need to know is in there in step by step format with pictures and diagrams. This job is not that bad, but there is quite a bit of digging to be done. I am an accomplished Ferrari mechanic and I was thankful for the manual. Factory head gaskets are about $80 each.
