depends on octane program... on 93 oct APR, you get 320hp (vs 250 stock) and 380 lbs of torque (Vs what 250ish stock too?)... So it is a different car. MY guess is you shave 1/2 sec + so it becomes a 6sec car IMO.
I hvae gotten mine to the mid 5's a few times but it takes work, the TIP sucks from a dig

RE: chip 2.7 vs stock 2.7
I have a GIAC chip. I have never used a stopwatch or taken it to the track, but I noticed a significant difference in acceleration post-chip, especially in 3rd and 4th gear. It literally pushes you back into the seat and hits the redline very quickly. The chip also removes the electronic governor (133mph). I had mine to 147 before running out of safe road. I think with premium fuel and a little more asphalt it would do over 150. I also think this is when Iruined my clutch as the speedo was jumping between 147-152 and surging, which leads me to believe this run caused the clutch to slip and glaze,
Having an MT6, I never had to do anything to the tranny (other than replace the clutch and flywheel about 10k miles after chipping). However I know GIAC offers a chip for the Tiptronic that is supposed to make shifts much snappier. The other companies may have one as well.
