Hey all - I just wanted to post this survey that a company did based on customers feedback on the chips installed to their 2.7t motors.
I believe that this would give everyone some info before purchasing a chip. I know you have to replace the Diverter Valve's, and it's a good idea to replace the Throttle Body Boot, but what about the transmission? With the 70 or so added HP, will the transmission need work? Can the transmission (Auto) handle that much gain on stock parts?
Also, is it true that if you upgrade to K04 turbo's you have to get the chip re-programmed? |

the stock auto on the s4 can take the chip no problem... you gotta get the tip chip with it too
