RE: are chips only for cars with turbos?
tnot sure if they have any chip tuning available for you, non-turbo cars can but the prformance gains are nowhere near that of a turbo. this is due largely to the fact that factory boost settings are low, the first thing chip tuning does is approx double the boost. Non turbo has no boost to double

makes sense i guess. there approxamitely 3 things i have found to be able to do to my car.
rims, tint, and cold air intake. other then that maybe add a turbo. but that would be a little expensive right now. i can't even find different heads or headlights for this thing. but that is okay. i would rather class it out then rice it out. but power would be nice.

Have you consideredlarger injectors, using lemmiwinks to tune for the larger injectors, a more free flowing exhaust. Alll of these will give you some performance gains. If you really wanted to you could throw a SC on it. Lots of stuff you can do, my buddy has a 2.8 A4 and we are just starting to explore power gaining options,

that sounds about what i am getting. mine might be getting a little more in the city then yours but highway is right on. interesting. but you have a 1.8T right? are there upgrades to mine i can do without sacerficing mpg? like exauhst, or a program?
