Hello- I'm new to this forum and I need some help.

I have a '97 A6 quattro. I was having a problem with the climate control. The indicator screens randomly turn off and then the blowers go on full blast. If I press hard on the + and - buttons or on the screens themselves, sometimes it will stop and sometimes it won't.

I took it to the dealer and they said the entire temperature control unit needs to be replaced--approx $1200

If anyone has any advice about this problem or knows where to get a replacement for the entire climate control unit, I would really appreciate any help you can give me.

I have no personal experience with them, but may be someone else on the list does. Looks like they offer a two-year warranty.
