Default confused by left front upper control arms

just have my 99 audi A6 Quattro(99K miles) checked by a mechanic. the mechainic said left front upper control arms need to be replaced and told me it would take 1.5 hours for labor. I tried to buy online. I was a little confused about what to buy exactly. according to the desciption, I should buy 2 front left upper control arms, 1 for front position and 1 for rear position. I search the online parts. found no brand offer such things, but 1 brand for front-left upper-front postion and another brand for front-left upper-rear position. Can I mix them 2 control arms from differnt bands?

here are the links for those 2 from left upper control arms.

I am really confused. don't want to buy the wrong parts online. can anyone advise? thanks a lot for help.

Just get all the suspension done at once, the whole kit is $499.00 at ecs tuning.

thanks for reply, auditech79. hmmm, $499 just just parts is a little to much for me. this car has close to 100K already. I will only drive <5K a year. so don't want to spend too much on this car in one shot. any problem to replace only 1 side of control arms? cause my mechanic said to just change 1 side. actually this was a recommendation by the mechanic. another mechanic said it would be good for at least 2K mileage. I didn't hear any sqeak when the car is in motion.

Those links always fail, chances are you would be back there in a couple of months which is what that mechanic is betting on i would think.
499 is not that bad for every front link in the car, tie rod ends, and all the hardware.
If you were to get all those parts from audi it would be around 900 dollars.

I would not recommend replacing all at once, the bushings inside of the control arms are made of a soft urethane material, and some arms wear faster than others over time, and with a replacement you run the risk of getting a lower quality arm than that of the factory arms (no matter what brand) , not to discourage you, i just had an issue such as that except with control arms... In anycase, replace them as they need to be for the one you just replaced could wear out before any of the others do again. I replaced mine individually and my original arms are still holding up. hope this helps.
