I just bought a 2001 A6. Replacing the engine but noticed some cosmetic flaws inside. Dash cup-holder front missing, ashtray stuck. Are these common problems?

 

They are common on any mistreated vehicle. look up force5auto.com its an Audi/VW grave yard out of New Hampshire. They can get what you need. I use them when no body can find me what I need. Unless you don't mind buying new. Ashtray may just have a lot of gunk.
