Hey new to this site and I am looking at buying an a6 2005 and up. I dont have access to any dealer auction prices and I have searched. I was wondering if anyone on here who has access can shoot some prices for 2005-2007 a6 3.2 v6 that have sold at the dealer auctions recently. Thanks guys

 

I have a 2005 A6 and it's NADA value is close to $20k clean retail. Of course the dealer says that NADA is what banks use to make people upside down in their loans, and that KBB is more accurate. I was quoted anywhere from $12-16k for a dealer trade in. I've purchased from an auction dealer (not my Audi) and if I had to guess, I'd say between $14-18k depending on the miles, year, features, etc. Auction dealers all have a little black book with the car values in it. They usually end up going just a few thousand below retail. Not as much as one would hope, given the amount of risk involved. Hope that helps.

'07 17.5 - 28k

varies by condition, mileage and a little bit to do with location as well.

 

The engine and option packages also cause the prices to swing quite a bit.
