Looking at the A6. Was wondering what the difference in horsepower is between the supercharged 24-valve 3.0-liter V-6, and the turbocharged 24-valve 3.0-liter diesel V-6. Thanks for any info.

 

HP wise the gas version rates at 333. Diesel version is rated for 240. But don't let the HP value fool you, the diesel has about 100 more lb-ft of torque. It will pull like a train. If you plan on keeping your are for long time, I would consider a diesel. For a typical Audi new ownership, i.e. less than 5 years, then I would go with gas.
