Audi didn't make a S6 in 2004, only a A6 S-line. My question is would a A6 S-line be the same as a S6?

 

S-line=Sports line ( basic upgraded suaspension and 5 more hp)

S6= v-8 twin turbo ( a lot different) all upgraded suspension, upgraded brakes, all premium, special rims.) Almost all of the s6's are station wagon's or avants.

 

S6 is not a twin turbo - that would be the RS6. It is a 4.2 V8. Also, all C5 S6's are Avants.

 

The S-Line has 265 HP (15 HP more the basic 2.7T).

 

I was going to say the same thing, other wise I would run out and buy one today!!!

 

So my 08 a6 s-line is an a6 minus a few bells and whistles?

Your s line is not even close to a S6. Your s line is an A6 with a multi vitamin. It is a very slight upgrade from a traditional A6. The S6 has a completely diffent engine and suspension. Your s line has an 8 cylinder. The S6 for your year had a V 10 out of a Lamborghini. Two different animals.

 

cool cool, thought I might of gotten even more lucky considering I only payed 18500 for the car with just under 80K in miles. Has NAV and Bose. Love the car.
