Audi A6 The mid-sized Audi A6 model offers more room to the driver and passengers over the A4 line.

Does this sound right - 2006 A6 Quattro w/53K miles retail $16,990?

I am somewhat skeptical because the price seems to good to be true. The carfax is clean - one owner, all maintenance records, no accidents. Owner bought it from dealership selling it now, put 8200 miles/yr. on.

It is not certified and records show the following have been done:
@23K - fuel pressure sensor replaced
@30K - ignition coil replaced, front brake rotors replaced, front brake pads replaced

all rest was regular maintenance. We saw it first day they got it, did not even go through dealer inspection yet - car drove like a dream. I have never owned an Audi before, I know the maintenance can be somewhat costly - should I be concerned? SHould I get extended warranty? KBB says this should resale for 20K; edmunds says it's retailing $475 under value - it just seems too good to be true.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Sounds about right if the car is priced at, "Market Value". If you're in doubt, ask to test drive it and then take it to a shop of your choosing to have it inspected. Remember the car is now 7 years old.
