Step one. Get out of audi and into camaro. Step two. Go drift. Drifting isnt really any fun in a car with quattro. Even in the snow. Just too much traction.

oh contrair........

NOTHING beats a 4 wheel slide, where adheasion has gone but control is still there......
I love sliding my 4.2 widebody.....when the rpm's are going up but your sliding threw the turn........it is really a slice of heaven.....

my Fave......
Turn 1 at Road America,
80 MPH and on the gas all the way around and the last 30 feet of the turn sliding to the outside......
thoese who have been there know what i'm talking about......

then again......Turn 7 is fun too.....off camber sloping away down the hill....

sorry, I may need to excsuse myself.......

Dude you ran your audi on road america? When? That would be fun as hell. Turn one will definatly give you an idea of your cars high speed cornering, with plenty of room for mistakes. Is seven the one by the grandstands mid track? I think ive seen a few cars go off there.

step 3: sell your camaro, and buy a 240, hachii, or any other 4 cyl, rwd car

v8 = too heavy to do anything that requires shifting your weight

the way i look at it, a turbo weighs way less than the extra 4 cylenders you would neeed to make the same power, and even still, you can make way more power with a turbo than any n/a car...

btw, d1 is this weekend at irwandale in CA... im going!!!
