does any one have this in there a6. i got one for christmas and not sure which way to hook up. i dont want to do the fm modulated way cause of all the interferance noise i will get from it. i was looking into getting a audio interface to plug in the back of the radio, i have changer controls but no changer, well at least i think i have changer controls cause it says changer on the radio. the funny thing is i cant find any wires in the back for a changer but all the plugs are in the radio, to me thats funny. but any help would be appreciated , oh and its a 01 a6 if that matters.

 

My friend has one of those in his A3 Cabrio and it sounds awesome. No static ever except when he's within 5mi of the transmitting tower of whatever frequency he's broadcasting on (here in MA they like putting the towers on the highways...)

 

i know someone that has this in another type of car and it is in and out static, i guess in florida it has to much radio interference around.

 

I think i read that the car comes wired for the cd changer. I think its plugged in the head unit but you need to just install it under the tools in the left side compartment in the boot. thats why it appears as though there is no cd changer hook up..... I think.
