The Forge 007 is not a blow off valve, it is a recirculating valve, so it is fine and servicable. As far as the chip I have had both GIAC and currently APR. I prefer the APR becuase it is not as aggressive. The car virtually drives stock until you hit the gas pedal. Plus the APR gives you the ability to change programs, erase codes, etcthru your cruise control. We all have our preferences though!

what about the "hybrid model"... this guy has the 007 and the 007A or something like that and then also this splitter hybrid model ... he was quoting me 300 for 2 of the hybrids ... is that ok to put on my car? thanks for the info

The Forge 007 is the standard closed looprecirculatingDV. The 007A is the same as the 007 with the exception of a rotating adjustable vacuum connection. These 2 DV's will work well for our cars. The Forge Splitter is essentially the same as the LLtek Hybid. They both recirculate air as well as blow it off into the atmosphere. Its not these hybrids will not work, they will, they just do notperform any better then the above mentioned, they just provide the "whoosh" sound and cost a bit more. Plus remember that our engines are designed for the recirculation method.I would not want to take a chance venting air into the atmosphere when our cars manage and meter the airflow.

N710 from TT will do the job.
I ahve the APR R1's, had the hyperboost stealth DVs before.
Like APR for no maintenance.

APR fixed the noise issue and if yuo send them older APR DVs they'll fix them...
Not a big issue

I think there was a spring issue with the R1. It is good that they corrected it. I have always liked APR. I know that some folks were taking the R1 apart and using the beefier spring from the Forge 007.
