Hi, I have Audi A6 2013 model, I am seeing E symbol on Display information System .

and whenever I change the gear, its displaying E and then GEAR number which I am in that GEAR ..ex .. E1,E2, E3 .. like that.

Can someone please help me, what E stands for ?? why that symbol is displaying..

your help will be really appreciated.
