I purchased a 2000 Audi A6 Quattro Avaunt with and almost unbelievable 60Kmiles on it, about 2 years ago.

I have had some interesting problems related largely to the age not mileage on the car.
e.g. motor and transmission mounts partially collapsed that led to a center drive shaft failure. These parts all replaced by a competent mechanic about 6 months ago. Front Upper suspension linkages also replaced at the same time.

the current and quite puzzling issue is this

Shortly after I bought the car I put new Perelli P7 Cintarado all season touring tires on it top rated tires for this model car with a 70K wear rating.

I now have about 92K on the car and the tires are nearing the wear marker.
I have maintained the alignment of the car, the nominal tire pressure in the tires, rotated them every 5k, and the wear is even no excessive edge wear or center wear, no cupping or scalloping, tire surface is smooth if you run your hand over it. At the rate of wear I will need to replace them in
