Hello Guys... I just bought my 2000 A6 2.7T a few days ago and I'm already in need of better sound / volume. I want to keep the factory look but want to add an Amplifier....the car has thew Bose factory sound system. Has anyone installed an aftermarket amp while keeping the original radio?? Advice needed please... Thanks.

Seems to me that someone tried to wire an amp to the factory Bose and had poor results. His conclusion that the Bose uses a common ground on the outputs, and the speakers when wired to the aftermarket amp were out of phase and sounded like crap. Do a search on the Electronics forum.
