does anyone know how to locae the paint code on 02 A6 2.7T. My car is actually Silver. But i know thats not the exact color

 

There is a sticker that has the paint codes on it in the spare wheel well. Not sure how to interpret it, but that's where the codes are.

The paint code can be found on the white 3"x3" sticker in the spare tyre well. About half way down the sticker you'll see 'Paint No/Interior No". My A6 is Oyster Grey and the paint/interior is LZ7Q/LZ7Q (which means the paint code is LZ7Q), so I guess it'll be similar for yours. You will also find this on a similar sticker on the inside front cover of the service book. Mine's a 2005 A6 so I'm assuming Audi have used a similar system to the 2002 A6.
