Default front clip swap

My body shop called audi and audi said that 2002 t0 2000 swap was not bolt on and required mods.

Can anyone verify this?

I want to put 2002 fenders, hood, lights, bumper on my car, mostly paid for by ins.

2002 started the B6 chassis while your 2000 is a B5 chassis. They are different and won't bolt right up.

Correction...Your car is considerd a C5 which ran from 1997-2004. 2004 to present is considered the C6. B4, and B5 is the A4/S4 line-up. In 2002, even though it was still a C5 chassis, there were subtle upgrades to the car like updated grills, bi-xenon form xenon headlamps and thus this change the fitment of the hoods and fenders. In the rear they poked the exhaust out the back and there were of course interior changes. If you had all the gear from the 2002 then it could be done. The $$ you will spend doing this for a very slight somewhat unoticable change will be better spent modding the current setup with air scoops, grills, possible the front end kit etc. See www.awetuning.com
