Default front o2s 01 a6 2.7t

I just read forum on front right o2 but how do u get to left drivers side front 02. i can barely see it. I hope its the problem. i am showing bank1 and 2 interminted lean fuel trim. only simtom i think i have is surging and don,t feel like it got the ower it should pulls hard them slows down slightly
I just got car anfd light came on 40 miles later. pretty sure some one clesred and sold. got car at auction for a song only 60k on it.

If the sensors are showing a lean fault, its probably an intake leak rather than the sensors going bad, if the sensors were bad the normal fault codes are: short circuit to B+, open circuit, short circuit to ground, and heater circuit malfunction.
Chances are you have a vaccum line broken or a line is loose.

yea i found a vacume line on diverter valve bad. but light still came back on. i was thinking in back of mind vacume leak or maf.

There is a vaccum T behind the center of the engine that commonly breaks but its really hard to get to and there is no way you can see it without removing the turbo Y pipe.

found wacume line on fuel reg bad. had tubes off. little long but light came on again. i was told there is a line under intake that leaks the tee on back looks ok cleaned engine today to check better at work in morning. car runs good now other than light. thinking of trying maf sensor.

but thanks for your help. and if you think of anywhere else they leak vacume

Hey if you wanna know a hacker trick to finding intake leaks you can use propane around the engine when its running and see if the idle gets faster, if it does there is still a leak. Its cheaper than buying a MAF sensor, but it may need one anyway.
