Fuel Gauge problem 2006
Started my 06 3.2 Quattro up today and the fuel gauge was on empty and it said 0 miles to empty. Filled 'er up and it still said empty. Is this a common problem? It was in the teens today don't know if that contributed. I took it through the car wash to get all the snow and ice off it and shortly after that it started working correctly again.

RE: Fuel Gauge problem 2006
Buy yourself a VAG COM www.ross-tech.com and pull the fault codes from the instrument cluster (module 17)
It could be a gauge problem, or one of the fuel senders are malfunctioning.
