Hi all, my 05 Audi A6 with 182k miles on a 3.2l v-6 is making a slap sound timing chain, pretty sure. Should I buy a used engine or a rebuilt and if so, from who? My tech Europro in Spokane is suggesting a used engine installed for $7k, or new chains and tensioners for $5k. yikes, idears?
