Default Getting all 4 corners on to jack stands.

Does anyone have a good method for getting my A6 on jack stands at all 4 corners?

Previously I've had cars with a solid center jacking point in the center at the front and rear. Looking over my A6 I don't see anything I could use.

The only thing I can think of doing is getting the front onto ramps (reversed...this will be apparent later). Jacking each side of the rear up separately with a floor jack under the trailing arms and placing the jack stand at the jacking points. Then finally jacking up the front end off the ramps, one side at a time, inboard of the jacking points and placing jack stands at the jacking points...i want to get the car higher than the ramps I have.

Well this is the general jacking points if you were curious: http://www.vaglinks.com/Docs/Audi/C5...JackPoints.pdf.

I think the ramp idea you have might be your only option besides a nice fancy lift.

I'll have to take another look at my rear diff. The Bentley service manual states specifically not to jack here but if I have a flat guard like the one in the picture it should be okay.

It looks like the author is talking about his S6 which should be an Avant which might have some different equipment underneath than the A.

Based on my experience with other cars this can be dangerous. I haven't tried it with the A6 so maybe given the cars weight, rigidity, center of gravity, etc... it might work. I want to avoid the embarrassment of trying it and failing miserably.
