I was at the dealer today and decided, after thinking about it the past several months that I would get a map update. Based on what I had seen I thought it would be around $200. Imagine my surprise when they told me it would be $550.
I said why so much? They said you have the hard drive, the program is $280 and someone has to babysit it for 2 hours. They said they have never sold an update. I said I guess not. I guess I'll have to start using my Magellan with the free map updates for life.

Any suggestions on what I can do? I will not pay $550 for this.
