The only experience I have with lowering springs was Eobach Sportlines on my 240sx and I loved it and drove it for like 6 months before I sold it and my stock shocks were fine and the ride was nice and it handled like nobodys business. Not to mention the drop on the sportlines were 2.3 front and 2.2 rear...

Hey formulagig where do you get your Audi worked on in Charlotte?

 

I have H&R coil overs on my A4 and there is a noticeable from stock and they are adjustable and it took me about 2 hrs to to the surgery. so i would recommend doing it your self rather than having some one else do it because they are going to charge over price shop rates to do the work and then you have the pride that you did it too. but i have a friend who helped me balance the car so the corners held the same weight all over. but its not that hard to do it your self and. I can't say anything bad about Eibach never ran them on anything. My H&R coils are very nice not that bad for daily driver. good responsiveness and not that bad with the bumps on the road.

 

i love your wheels formula well both sets. what are the first set not the bbs'. also will those bolt right up to an 01 2.7t. i hear because of my caliper situation i have a very small rim selection. I have asa wheels now but want something a little better looking

I used to go to PAS Automotive downtown. Now I go to GMPPerformance for mods and Labor.
Someone I know is oipening a new shop specialized in Audi and will charge only $69/hr. certified Audi/VW mechanics. He is good. Shops opens Aug 23rd, off woodlawn.

First set are my current Hartman RS4 DTM wheels in 18'. Originally siver, I just had them redone in Urban GRey with a hue of blue. Looks real cool and I like to be different
The other ones are Forged 2-pc BBS RS-GT Diamondblack. Sold to a guy with an S4.
I think my DTMs would fot the 01 but DIon or Skyler at ACHTuning could confirm.If not they sell spacers. Theya re runing a special on the, with tires in 19 right now.

 

GiGi - Were your BBS rims 18s or 19s? What were tire sizes? I can get my hands on the same rims in 18s - just wondering if it would be too small for the C5 body. Thanks!

Also, does anyone have any experience or comments w/ the H&R & Bilstein combo?
