Bought the A6, had it 2 days, and had an oil leak. Brought it back to the dealer who took a week to find out there were brass fittings that were leaking. OK, all set now. Got it back Saturday, didn't go out at all until work on Monday. Had a doctor's appointment, come out of that to find some woman in an POS Thunderbird "slipped on ice" (there was none) and did a number to my door. Looks like I'll be without it again *sigh*

 

sorry to hear about your bad luck.. just be glad that the person was still there

my old car got hit while parked at school, and no one left a note or anything.. and I only had liability insurance.. so yeah.. I was left to foot the bill for parts. lol just saying it could always be worse!

 

I am very sorry to hear! I hope it all works out, seems like no one got hurt so good news!

 

the adjuster comes tomorrow to look at it. I was also told of a place that does higher end collision work. Hopefully they will do a good job

 

Bad luck indeed. I was in Detroit last night and a friend called my cell to tell me he watched someone back into the rear of my A6 and then drive off. He chased them down and got the license plate. I checked the car and no damage - hard to believe.Could not even find a new scratch on the bumper fasica. I had left the car in 2nd gear (no parking brake) so it must have moved when it was hit. It all goes to show that some people are a$$holes.

 

also found a 2nd oil leak. Going to get fixed again. Now it's getting a little sickening
