Default Is having mismatched diverter valves ok?

I have an '04 2.7T A6; I'm putting in a CAI, Throttle body boot and replacing the diverter valves now in preparation to tune the car. However only one DV has arrived, the second is on backorder.

Before I replace just one of the DVs, I wanted to make sure that having one stock and one Forge 007P wont cause any problems. I couldn't think of any reason it would, but better safe than sorry I figured.

probably not something that is going to "kill" your car as long as you aren't pushing it, but definitely not an ideal situation. Try to resist the urge to only do part of the job because you are excited about your new parts. Wait for the other DV and do it all at once, the right way.

just my opinion

I would think it might cause a problem. You could end up with different amounts of back pressure on opposite sides of the engine and the ECU might try to compensate.
