Hiya everyone this is my first post here, so hello to all!

I have a UK Audi A6 (V reg, 2000) 1.8T been going great for months with no problems until we had a recent bout of very heavy rain that lasted a few days without stopping. Now my alarm went off initially but I reset that by taking off the battery but now after reconnecting it I cannot get the hazard light/indicators to go out, they just remain constantly on, no flashing or anything. I have taken out the fuse to save my battery, but I cannot drive the car and am due to go on holiday in it tommorrow!

I have tried drying the car out and am contemplating covering everything with WD40 but any other suggestions are welcome. I already phoned the local AUdi service centre who were useless and had no suggestions.
