Does the heated steering wheel come with the package that includes the heated seats? I have heated seats and my car was originally from Seattle, but the steering wheel never gets warm, .

 

How do you have a heated wheel? My 01 has the cold weather pak (heated front and rear, ski bag) but no heated wheel. I didnt think it was an option until face lift cars.

 

It was an option in 00, my 00 is cold weather and it mentions the heated steering wheel in the manual, but it is an option. It does not come standard with the cold weather package its an add on I believe.

 

Oh... I see. I wish mine had it. My dads VW has one, its awesome.

 

I have a heated steering wheel in my '99, dunno where you guys go for facts these days

 

damn, I wonder if theres any way to retro-fit it if it was an option the whole time... the wiring should already be there.

 

I'm pretty sure it comes with the car if the car has heated seats. My 99 A6's owner's manual says that when you turn on the heated seats, the heated steering wheel turns on also, so I think that means the heated steering wheel comes with heated seats.
