hi ppl,

i just bought a audi a6 mfg year 2000...i from malaysia anyway.. the thing is that I sent my car in for regular engine service at 120000 km. The auto mechanic called me up and advise that I should change my engine mounting. After all this, about 3 days, while i was driving the car, it suddenly stalled. Not knowing what to do, i started the car again but this time when it started, there was a funny noise near the gearbox and when engaged to D, then car would not move. I then got it towed to the workshop. This time i was told the gearbox was gone. What i would like to know is whether changing of the mounting could have affected the gearbox some way may be in the alignment...i dunno? please advice.
