Default help with purchase of 2004 a6 s-line PLEASE!!

hi guys, im going to look at a 2004 a6 quattro s-line on tuesday to purchase, it has 120k miles on it, seller says the motor has been meticulously maintained and everything is in tiptop shape. i need to know what i should look for incase any issues, im not familiar with audi's at all yet. please tell me all things to look into so i can find issues, if any. the seller did tell me the cv joints will need replaced soon, but it may just be the boots, is this expensive?? thanks so much for your help in advance and i hope to be a very active forum member and OWNER soon

when your driving keep a sharp nose for burning smell. these cars leak oil from the v/c gaskets and cam adjusters.

i hope the timing belt has been done.

if there a check engine light on get it scanned at autoparts and get the code.

Read the sticky on 2.7Ts. Drive it 50-100 miles to make sure everything seems solid and also give it time to throw a CEL (in case the owner cleared them before your test drive). Having a shop familiar with Audis looks at it is a good cheap investment.
