Help! Does my Audi A6 2006 have a timing belt or chain?

Help! Does my Audi A6 2006 have a timing belt or chain? Vehicle is new to me and its time for it's 115,000 service and I need to understand what's required. Thanks!

Which engine do you have. If it is the 3.2 is is a chain. I forget when the 4.2 made the switch.

Oil and filters. If you just got the car I would change the air filter at the same time.

I know A6 2006 2.4 petrol has chain, not belt...

When changing timing chain tensioner you do not have to remove the timing belt!
