I just going to buy new rims and wheels. Looks like 20"
Tyres 245x35/20

do you have any experience with rubbing ???

i drive A6 2.8 30V

I think it's going to rub on 2.8. You should look at 225-235

According to tirerack.com, the 19" for your car is 235/35/19 , so your 245/35/20 would be too big.
Check with a reputable tire shop.

245 x 35 R19

20" was too risky

why not ?

d u mean 245x35 R19 ???? LOL, i just approved order Guy from Tirerack called me today to tell me, they recomend 235x35 R19 !!! LOL, but, my friend said, spacers can help to no rubbing.

Any idea ????

I have Wanli rubber, 225/35 20's on my 2001 A6 2.8 30V and they fit perfect with a thin adaptor on the front axle. I have no rubbing issues at all. Take a look
