HELP! Why doesnt my climate control turn off?

07 A6- A/C wont turn off. I turn the dial all the way down to 1 but it wont turn off? wtf? am i missing something here? Unfortunately, I dont have my owners manual. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hold dowN the Econ button for 5 seconds and the ac will turn off.

You are just one or two more press of the "-" button from 1 then it will turn off
